Region of Peel – Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have charged a 25-year-old man from Innisfil and a 24-year-old man from Quebec for the theft of several catalytic converters. Investigators have also obtained an arrest warrant for a 25-year-old man from Mississauga.
On Saturday, March 25, 2023, at approximately 2:00 a.m., the suspects were in the area of Tomken Road and Kamato Road in Mississauga, where they were seen on a security camera stealing catalytic converters from vehicles. Uniformed officers and investigators from 12 Division attended the area and located the suspect vehicle fleeing the scene. The suspects were located a short distance away with the assistance of K9. Two suspects were arrested, and the stolen property was recovered.
Emerick Long-Lalonde, a 25-Year-old man from Innisfil, has been charged with the following offences:

Theft Over $5000 (X3)
Mischief Over $5000 (X3)
Obstruct Peace Officer
Samuel Pelletier, a 24-year-old man from Quebec, has been charged with the following offences:
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Theft Over $5000 (X3)
Mischief Over $5000 (X3)
Obstruct Peace Officer
Both parties were held for bail hearings and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
A warrant has been issued for Charles Savoie Tessier, a 25-year-old man from Mississauga, for the following offences:
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (X6)
Theft Over $5000 (X3)
Mischief Over $5000 (X3)
Obstruct Peace Officer
Flight from Peace Officer
Dangerous operation
