TORONTO: Two women stabbed near Islington and Finch

Toronto Police Service is investigating a double stabbing incident near Islington and Finch.

Just before 8.30 am, police received a call to an apartment building in the area. They found a woman with a laceration on her hand. She was taken to the hospital, but paramedics said she was not seriously injured.

A second woman who went to a hospital in the area suffered stab wounds in the same incident, police said.
