A man was taken to a trauma center after a collision with a streetcar downtown, which happened after 1 am at Queen Street and Victoria Street, just a block away from Yonge.
The cube van collided head-on with the front end of the streetcar.
Emergency crews had to extract the driver from the van, who was said to have life-altering injuries.
The investigation into this continues.
