Toronto: A woman in 20s has been taken to the hospital after stabbing at Yonge and Dundas Square

TORONTO— Police are on scene and investigating. A woman in her 20s has been taken to the hospital by medics with a stab wound to the abdomen.

The Police said the injury is non-life-threatening and if anyone have any info is urged to contact police.


The police was called earlier at 8:40 p.m. at Yonge and Dundas Square, Downtown Toronto. They located a victim of a stabbing at Dundas Subway Station. Reports indicate the stabbing occurred near York University.


Paramedics transported the woman to a nearby trauma centre in non-life threatening condition.


No word on any suspect information at this time.
