Camilla Parker Bowles wore Queen Elizabeth's sparkling sapphire and diamond tiara for the second time in a month at last night's diplomatic corps reception at Buckingham Palace - and it turns out her embroidery The blue coat actually belonged to another royal: her husband, King Charles III.
The navy coat, a traditional Saudi garment known as the daqlah, was a gift from designer Yahya Al Bishri to the then Prince of Wales during Charles' visit to Saudi Arabia in 1998.
The 75-year-old queen wore the stunning silver-embroidered gown over a navy blue gown last night, accessorizing it with a Belgian sapphire tiara once worn by her late mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II.
Prince and Princess of Wales, Kate and William joined King Charles III at the event looking refreshed after their most Boston tour.
