In midtown Toronto, two people were seriously injured including a child after a multi-vehicle accident.
Just after 8:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to Bathurst Street and Ava Road near Eglinton Avenue West on Thursday.
Paramedics transported a man and a child with serious but not life-threatening injuries to local hospitals. It is unknown what their ages are.
There is no information about how many vehicles were involved in the crash, or if the two injured people are from the same vehicle.
Due to the police investigation, the area is closed to traffic.
