According to Buckingham Palance, the Queen of England, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, died on Thursday, September 08, 2022, at 96.
A statement from Buckingham Palace said, "The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow".

The Queen of the United Kingdom (UK), Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor, was born in Mayfair, London, on April 21, 1926. She was the first child of the Duke and Duchess of York.
