JUST KNOW THAT IT’S NOT YOUR FAULT...AND NOTHING IS WRONG WITH YOU!

Give yourself at least 24 hours before making any big decisions.

The emotions you feel might not be so heavy for some, but they could be proven deadly and shocking for others. In the gist of finding the ultimate strength to cope with the flood of feelings, to calm your nerves, and to control your blood pressure, when you suspect or find out your partner, spouse, boyfriend, or girlfriend, is cheating on you.

It sucks and is gut-wrenching! BUT,

  • Don’t PANIC, and Take a deep breath.

  • Fetch yourself a glass of water because that will send some oxygen to your brain and help you calm down.

  • Talk to yourself and remind yourself, OR even better, say it out loud, “ALL IS WELL.”

  • Reach out to a trusted friend or family member, write down on paper or draw.

  • It’s not the end of the world.

Breakups are hard; relationships are not smooth sailing often. If you see people so happy and hearty in the pictures or videos on the internet, social media, or physically around you, you cannot predict the whole story behind closed doors. There are gazillions of humans out there having similar experiences to yours.

  • Situations happen for a reason. Life brings moments that can change your life on a larger scale. It might not be what you expected, but something is EVEN BETTER waiting for you.

  • Did anyone expect Covid? No, right. So, Never Say Never.

  • Your life is worth it, and there is someone to who you are important.

  • Think and think again about your family and friends who deeply love you.

  • Plan a to-do task to look something forward. E.g., Book a wellness session, a visit, adopt a pet, or anything you like.

  • Retail therapy is another way to improve mood or disposition.

  • Do light yoga, meditation or stretching.

The energy and speed of the shock are so high for some that it could leave some emotionally blindsided for a while. Let it out while keeping yourself and others around you safe. Listen to music or sing louder! Try to level down the emotional energy that your heart is feeling.

People change, and it takes a lifetime to understand someone, and even then, you cannot fully assume that you know everything. You can navigate your boat through this nasty storm because you are powerful! The best you can do is CONTROL YOURSELF. You have the power to redirect your thoughts, your energy, and your decisions the way you want.

Think about the things that you haven’t done in your life yet. Plan a vacation with your family, friends or just by yourself.

If nothing still works, please get help without any hesitation. Contact your medical practitioner, go for personal counselling or go to a walk-in clinic.
