Exciting time for the royals!

Now that Queen Consort Camilla will officially become Queen Camilla of England, she will be referred to as such.

Announcing the coronation and sharing the invitation ahead of time, the royal family said, "The official invitation for the Coronation of The King and The Queen Consort has been revealed. Designed by Andrew Jamieson, the invitation features the Green Man, an ancient figure from British folklore, symbolic of spring and rebirth, to celebrate the new reign."

For the first time, Camilla refers to the king's wife as "Queen Camilla," dropping the word "consort" from her title.

An invitation featuring symbolic flora, fauna, and coats of arms is printed on recycled cards with gold foil detailing. More than 2,000 guests will be invited to the event at Westminster Abbey on May 6th (where first lady Jill Biden will represent the United States). "The President also conveyed his desire to meet with the King in the United Kingdom at a future date," a statement added.

It will be 18 years since Camilla and the King were married when they will be crowned at the coronation service next month.

It is unclear whether Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, will attend.

The couple's spokesperson confirmed this week that there is no update on whether they will attend.

The King completed his first state visit last week, receiving a warm welcome in Germany. Now, however, the focus is on preparing for the coronation.

The ceremony will include eight "pages of honour" who will play the roles of children of friends and relatives.

This includes Prince George, the nine-year-old son of the Prince and Princess of Wales, and three of the Queen Consort's grandchildren, Gus and Louis Lopes, Freddy Parker Bowles and her great-nephew Arthur Elliot.

Furthermore, it is understood that an overall figure for government spending on the coronation will not be available until after the event.
