The former host of "Tonight Show," Jay Leno, was in his Los Angeles home's garage when one of his cars burst into flames resulting in him getting some severe burns from the gasoline fire.
Two weeks ago, Leno posted on his Instagram account, "We are only 2 hours away from an all-new episode of Jay Leno's Garage.

He is being treated after being burned in a car fire in a LA garage on Sunday. TMZ reported that the left side of his face was reportedly seriously burned. "Jay Leno and the Grossman Burn Center have confirmed to PEOPLE that he is recovering after suffering burn injuries from a gasoline fire in his garage. Leno's employee and friend, George Swift, also confirmed he is in "great spirits" following the steam car incident and that "nothing life-threatening" occurred to the comedian."
Jay Leno was set to perform at Forum 2022, a financial conference in Las Vegas run by The Financial Brand, but was unable to attend due to a medical emergency. An email to the conference attendees said, "His family was not able to provide us very many details, but there was a very serious medical emergency that is preventing Jay from traveling. All we know is that he is alive, so our prayers go out to him and his family tonight."
