The Supreme Court has denied an urgent appeal made by former President Donald Trump on Thursday to stop the intervention over classified records discovered and confiscated from his Mar-a-Lago estate in August.
Senior Congressional Correspondent Chad Pergram spoke to Fox News and said the bombshell surprise is the announcement of this subpoena and the vote that CMTE took here, which is rare. He said it's implausible that the former president would comply with the subpoena. As a result, the Full house will have a vote to compel somebody to testify or hold them in contempt of congress; that is the turf that America has never gotten. No congressional committee has even entertained this prospect since 1950.
