The 50-year-old actress reveals that she suffers from dry skin and uses oil containing a 'retinol alternative' to hydrate it.
In a new Instagram video, Gwyneth Paltrow explains how she keeps her skin moisturized during the cold months.
Her blonde hair was pulled back from her face in the video, and she wore minimal makeup.
While talking about the Goop Genes products she wears on her face, she wore a cozy gray cardigan.
'My skin tends to get really really parched and I’m constantly layering on face oil and our moisturizer all the time,' said Paltrow. 'I think everybody knows by now how in love I am with our facial oil, I use it multiple times a day.'
She added it is a 'nourishing' product. 'It includes a natural retinol alternative and nine powerful nutrient-dense oils that really create this unique texture and give you this youth boosting result, your skin gets firm, it smooths wrinkles out, it’s the best.'
Furthermore, she discussed how she spends winter: 'I love a good staycation in the winter. Stay in front of the fire and cook and read and time to hibernate. Time to be at home and be cozy.'
Additionally, she has an adventurous, sporty side.
'We do love a ski trip. We try to get a few days in every year. I grew up skiing with my family so it’s something I’ve tried to continue with my own kids,' shared the mother to Apple and Moses.
According to the Academy Award winner, Brad Falchuk is a better skier than she is.
'Brad is a better skier. He does like trees and bumps and all that stuff, I’m too old for that sh*t at this point,' she said.
In front of her, she held up a small white bag and said, 'This is my whole winter skin routine in a little bag.'
Regarding Goop's eye patches, she says, 'These are critical for winter skin, eyes, your crows feet get more pronounced… these eye masks are super potent…they really change the way your eyes look.'
She then discussed other products in the Goop Genes line and how they keep her skin moist during the winter.
