The former CEO of Twitter, Indian origin, Parag Agrawal, 37, was reportedly paid $2.5 Million.
Why would a person need $2.5 Million to take home when the hardworking thinkers behind the invention, operations, development, and tech are exploited and are so underrated?
Some of these executives what they do is look cool in business meetings, "put on a show" of running tech companies, and, most of the time, know least about the tech specs of their platform. Although it's not their fault to run a business, shouldn't they know about it as a leader? So that when techies approach them for the improvements or fair compensation needed, they don't turn a blind eye and sound anymore dumb.
If you are a techie who works in a tech industry, perhaps you may have noticed that VPs, SVPs, CEOs, CTOs, etc., have significantly less knowledge about, for example, how the "product" works, especially in the digital space.
Vijaya Gadde, 48, another Indian-origin Chief Legal officer who was sacked from Twitter, is reportedly worth $54 Million, and her salary was $7.3 Million.
Agrawal, who graduated from IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), every Indian Engineer knows the overrated theoretical study system of India as more focus is given to cramming concepts than applying them practically to top the exams. The graduates mostly lack practical knowledge; hence it's highly likely you will expect a massive change. They would adjust to the nature of their habitat and resist change. On top of that, political corruption is another layer that stops progress. Imagine if the education system can improve for the better; India will be the number one country for innovation and technology.
Ned Segal, 47, an American Business Executive and former CFO of Twitter, took $6 Million. He is worth $36 Million.
As part of the compensation, Segal received $25.4M, Agrawal received $38.7M, Gadde $12.5M, and Personette $11.2M.
They might all be lying in their jacuzzis, sipping champagne daily, while techies barely make ends meet, struggling from job to job. It's time techies take the command and run the show!!!
CHANGE IS PAINFUL SOMETIMES; CHANGE IS NOT STRAIGHTFORWARD; CHANGE BRINGS HOPE
Musk is introducing new features onto the Twitter platform; he is active, conducting polls, asking users about what features and functionalities they prefer, and figuring out how the platform technically operates. It shows the engagement and effort.
Watch Musk's TED interview, and decide if he's got that brilliant mindset of not.
