Elon Musk to step down as Twitter CEO after the Poll he conducted

Elon Musk has announced that he will step down as CEO of Twitter if he finds someone "foolish enough to take the job."

The billionaire previously vowed to stand by the results of a Twitter poll in which 57.5 percent of users voted "yes" for him to drop the role.

He said he would continue to lead the software and server teams after a replacement is found.

The platform has drawn a lot of criticism for changes since it took over.

It was the billionaire's first response to a poll launched on Sunday about his resignation. Finding someone to take over the social media platform could be a challenge, Musk said.
