A tweet was posted by Elon Musk today, the current CEO of Twitter, announcing the new CEO of Twitter.
Linda Yaccarino will be joining Twitter in six weeks.
WHO IS LINDA YACCARINO?
Linda Yaccarino was born in 1963 in New York, United States, to immigrant parents of Italian descent. Having grown up in an Italian-American family, Yaccarino spent most of her career in television, most of it with Time Warner, which is now Warner Brothers Discovery. A 1985 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, she lives with her husband, Claude Madrazo, in Sea Cliff, New York.

Yaccarino, 60, was NBCUniversal's chair of advertising sales. Elon Musk announced on May 12, 2023, that Yaccarino would succeed him as CEO of X Corp. and Twitter.
Musk had earlier added, "Excited to announce that I’ve hired a new CEO for X/Twitter. She will be starting in ~6 weeks! My role will transition to being exec chair & CTO, overseeing product, software & sysops."
A member of the Ad Council Executive Committee since 2015, Yaccarino joined the board of directors in 2014.In 2021-2022, she served as Board Chair after serving as Vice Chair.
