The emergency crews were called into this home at about 11:40 pm last night after receiving reports of an explosion.
The blast happened inside the townhouse, causing extensive damage. Neighboring units also have significant structural damage.
A man and woman had been seriously injured, and the two children had minor injuries.
The cause of the explosion is not known at this point and is currently being investigated.
