At the intersection of Rutherford Rd and Orenda Rd, two vehicles crashed, including a police cruiser at 3:02 a.m.
As a result, Rutherford Rd between Orenda Rd and Clark Blvd was shut down northbound and southbound.
The police are asking people to use alternate routes.
Minor injuries have been sustained by the officers.
A dangerous driving charge and other offenses were filed against the driver of the vehicle. The injuries he sustained are minor and he has been released from the hospital.
