At Bloor St W & Gardenvale Rd, a person was stabbed and hospitalized with serious injuries

TORONTO — There has been a stabbing at Bloor St W & Gardenvale Rd, resulting in serious injuries.

Approximately 12:04 pm, police reported a stabbing at Bloor St W & Gardenvale Rd. suspect fled E/B on Bloor St W.

On the scene were police, firefighters, and medics who found the injured man.

A victim with serious injuries has been transported to hospital via emergency run.

Suspect is in custody and being transported with non-life-threatening injuries. A knife has been recovered.

The police are currently investigating the scene and searching for further evidence. The motive for the attack is still unclear. The identities of the suspect and the victim have yet to be released.
