TORONTO — At 10:51 pm, there was a collision at Queen St E & Sherbourne St. There were reports of a pedestrian being struck. Toronto Medics and police arrived on the scene.
The pedestrian has been pronounced dead. An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact the Toronto Police Service at 416-808-1900 or 416-808-2222.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation by the police. The vehicle did not remain at the scene. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a silver sedan with four doors.
The intersection has been closed while the Police investigate. It is expected that Sherbourne St. from Queen St E to Shuter St. will be closed for several hours. Consider alternate routes.
