A man was seriously injured in a stabbing at a downtown Toronto hotel late Tuesday night. A suspect is in custody.
At 10:42 p.m., Toronto police were called to a hotel near Gerrard Street West and Yonge Street for a stabbing.
Police found a man with a stab wound when they arrived, they said.
The victim was transported to a trauma center in serious, but stable condition, according to Toronto paramedics.

At about 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, police said a man in his 20s has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
