Peel Police reported an attempted carjacking at Steeles Ave W and Mississauga Road in Mississauga at 8:43 am yesterday.
The victim approached at a gas station.
The suspect possessed a weapon. A bystander intervened and held the suspect in place.
The Peel Regional Police ed at the scene and the suspect has been taken into custody.
Injuries to the suspect were minor, and he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
