TORONTO A fire broke out in an abandoned building at Portland St and Richmond St.



An abandoned building on Portland St and Richmond St caught fire at 6:18 pm, according to the Toronto Police Department.


Fire crews were immediately dispatched to the scene. On arrival, the fire department advised it was a two-alarm fire. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.


There was a road closure on Portland St between Adelaide St and Richmond St, but all roads are now open.
