A serious multivehicle crash closed the westbound 403 ramp to the upper middle just before 8 this morning. The chopper cp24 was on the scene to assess and report on the location of the accident.
The school bus was among 8 vehicles involved in a collision, and six people were injured. Due to the number of vehicles and the damage, the ramp is expected to remain closed for several hours.
"The driver of this vehicle was taken to the hospital, and there were serious injuries and are waiting on updates from the hospital on their condition," said SGT. Kerry Schmidt from OPP.
"The white truck collided with multiple vehicles, including a school bus," he added. Thankfully, "no passengers or kids were on the school bus at that time."
